Shopify wanted to showcase real customer success stories in an engaging, scalable way at major European industry events. Partnering with Onepointfive, we created an interactive product showcase that merged physical objects with digital storytelling. The result was a visually striking activation that demonstrated the real-world value of Shopify’s ecosystem through its customers’ achievements.


The challenge

Onepointfive partnered with us to create an innovative, customer-centric event activation showcased at major industry events across Europe. The activation hero-ed Shopify customers and explained the role that Shopify products played in their success stories. The experience needed to be visually impactful, highly engaging, and adaptable able to scale and reconfigure seamlessly across different event footprints and exhibition spaces.

The process

Customer success stories are among the most compelling ways to demonstrate the real-world value of the Shopify eco-system. To bring these narratives to life, we worked closely with onepointfive to curate and refine the visual style for the experience. The outcome was a visually striking, interactive product display designed for intuitive exploration at events.

Attendees could select a physical product – each representing a real Shopify customer – and place it on a designated NFC-enabled shelf in front of an interactive screen. This action triggered rich digital content about that business to display, including videos, facts and insights, illustrating how Shopify helped enable their growth and success through their various products.

The outcome

By merging physical products with dynamic digital storytelling, the experience was both engaging and memorable. This thoughtful blend of technology and storytelling elevated Shopify’s case studies beyond static displays transforming them into compelling brand assets that demonstrated real-world value.
