The Task
Hoseasons is one of the leading providers of short breaks in the UK. They run Sandymouth Holiday Resort, which offers family-friendly activities and beautiful beaches on the Cornish coast, and they asked us to create five 360º films that capture the activities available there to attract families and holiday-goers. We wanted to get footage that took us to the heart of the action – showing archery, water walking, body zorbing, surfing and the pirate ship children’s playground in an unforgettable way.
The Outcome
We built a custom underwater rig and a custom tracking dolly to get shots with a wow factor. We then created five stories, with text overlay, that show the fun holiday-makers can have. Each film is optimised for social media to drive traffic to the Hoseasons web page, where all the films are hosted on a custom-built 360 web player. This gives users an interactive map that they can click on to watch the relevant video – with a call-to-action to book their holiday and enjoy the excitement Sandymouth has to offer.
