What is an app?
App is short for ‘application’ and it refers to a type of software that can be installed and run on a device such as a smartphone, tablet, computer or smartwatch. The most common apps are mobile apps and all apps have a specific purpose, which could be anything from a fitness tracker to a game to an AR experience.
