A recipe for B2B success
The Task
A simple idea can have the sweetest impact. Omne is a specialist foodservice marketing agency working in the UK and across Europe to help bring creative vision to the world’s best food, drink and hospitality brands. As part of their integrated campaign for Callebaut chocolate, they wanted to bring their chocolate sampling to life. Literally. So they came to us to create a simple AR experience that can easily inspire users – and give them a taste for what Callebaut Belgian chocolate can do for their food business.
The Process
When AR is used in the right way, it’s brilliant at enhancing the amount of information a user can access – whatever the budget of the project. In this scenario, the experience triggers from a QR code supplied as part of a sample pack sent out to Callebaut’s target audience – inviting recipients into an indulgent, colourful world of chocolate. All the user has to do is move their device to explore the content and tap the prettily-designed AR panels on screen to enjoy a feast of information, including products, recipe ideas, videos, Callebaut’s sustainability story, and the latest Dessert report into trends and industry insights.
The Outcome
The experience feeds into Omne’s wider campaign for Callebaut, while creating an immediate and immersive connection between brand and customer. Plus, it’s sustainable – designed to enable the experience to be updated on a regular basis, to keep customers inspired and Callebaut fresh in their minds. So it’s no wonder it was nominated for Best Digital Experience at the B2B Marketing Awards 2023.
